IT’S 30 years since Suzuki launched the first Alto car – and the seventh-generation Alto, now on sale, is one of the greenest petrol city cars around. Priced from just pounds 6,795, the 996cc, threecylinder Alto produces emissions of only 103g/km, and has a combined-cycle fuel economy of 64.2 mpg.
